Open two pictures in Paintshop Pro, one image of a person or persons and one background image.

Increase the color depth on both images to 16 million colors (24 bit).

Select the image of the person, then click EDIT->Copy.

Select the background image and click EDIT->paste as a new layer.

Once this is done the image of the person will be on top of the background image, erase

around the image of the person to remove its background, the background image will remain intact. Soften the edges of the image.

Select the Layer Palette, The slider bar on Layer one will be up to 100% left click on the

slider and drag it down, when happy with the ghost image let go.

Go to Layers->Merge->Merge all.

And thats it, done.
